Maintenance

Read through the advice on this page before making a repair request.

Plumbing

Minor plumbing problems like toilet and sink clogs are a common occurrence in residential homes. Fortunately, you can normally solve this sort of problem without too much hassle. If it is found that the plumbing was damaged by tenant misuse, you will be responsible for the repair.

Toilet Clogs

A plunger should help you dislodge any clogs in your toilet pipes. Simply press the plunger into place and move it up and down vigorously. This should push anything stuck in the pipe through the system.

Drain Clogs

Is your sink or bathtub clogged? These clogs are normally caused by debris accumulating in the pipe. You can buy drain cleaners and small snakes from most hardware stores to remove small blockages. If you can't resolve the issue on your own, get in touch with us.

Electrical

If you lose electrical power in your rental home, call your utility provider. The electrical company will be better positioned to answer your questions and help you pinpoint what's causing the outage.

Hot Water

If you don't have enough hot water in your property, check the settings on your water tank. If the tank is heated with gas, you should also check that the pilot light is lit.

HVAC

If your air conditioning or heating isn't working properly, check the settings on your central thermostat. Verify that the settings haven't been accidentally changed before getting in touch with us. Also check to ensure the breaker has not tripped.

Emergencies

In emergency maintenance situations, call us directly. We ask that you reserve general inquiries for normal business hours. If you're in a situation where you feel concerned about your personal safety, call 911. Emergencies = fire, flood, or blood.
